Walk through villages, forests and upstream along the Modi Khola into the Annapurna Sanctuary, a valley surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. This is a spectacular trek to the South Face of Annapurna I (8,091m/26,545ft). Offer breathtaking views of the Fishtail Peak-Machhapuchhare (6,993m/22,943ft). Watch a magnificent sunrise over Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,795ft) and Annapurna ranges from Poon Hill.


Main attraction
Mid -hills cultural area, inhabited by Gurung, Magar, Brahmin and kshetri castes, Dramatic views of Annapurna and fishtail on the way to and from Base Camp. Vast range of bio-diversity on the trail conserved wild life and vegetation, natural hot spring.

Accessibility
Fly or drive to Pokhara, by land 7 hr. drive and by air 30 minute. Morning transfer to trailhead and start the trek, after the trek again drive back to Pokhara from take out point.

The Route
Max. Altitude 4180 m. about 5-6 hr. gentle walking per day, trek starts after breakfast, moderate trail.

Facility
Teahouse lodges, managed by ACAP and eco-aware local people. Tented camping trip also can be organized, safe drinking water project facilities.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathamndu airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 03: After breakfast fly or drive to Pokhara and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Drive to trailhead Nayapul (1070m) trek to Ghandruk (1970m)
Day 05: Ghandruk (1970m) trek to Sinwa (2350m)
Day 06: Sinwa (2350m) trek to Deurali (3230m)
Day 07: Deurali (3230m) trek to ABC (4130m)
Day 08: ABC (4130m) trek to Bamboo (2340m)
Day 09: Bamboo (2340m) trek to Chhomrong (2170m)
Day 10: Chhomrong (2170m) trek to Tolka (1810m)/ Landruk (1620m)
Day 11: Tolka/Landruk - Kande & drive back to Pokhara overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: After breakfast drive or fly back to Kathamndu and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13: Sightseeing in Patan and Bhaktapur durbar square and evening farewell dinner at typical Nepali restaurant.
Day 14: International departure.
