Phurwa Tamang, 21, of Nepal has won this year’s Tenzing-Hillary Everest Marathon title in open category on Friday. He finished the race with the record breaking timing of three hours forty minutes and forty seven seconds. Ram Krishna Tamang and Sudip Kulung Rai, both from Nepal, were first and second runner-up respectively.
