A seven-member team has started combing through snow in Nepal's Himalayas in search of a missing mountaineer who has climbed Mount Everest 19 times, the Tourism Ministry said in a statement.
Chhewang Nima Sherpa, 43, went missing on October 23, after an avalanche on the 7,129-metre Mount Baruntse in the east of the country.
He went missing after his expedition had reached a height of 7,045 metres.
