The climbers reached the summit of Manaslu, the world’s eighth-highest peak at 8,150 meters, east of Annapurna, on April 23. 
The two climbers were members of a six-man expedition team from the state-run Korea Expressway Corp.
Four others, including Kim Hong-bin, the leader of the team, managed to return to the base camp.
The official said that at least it will take a day to identify the body since at the moment they cannot confirm the dead body.

TAAN claimed that at present, the cadres, some organized groups and sister organizations of UCPN are widely extorting money from trekkers, trekking professionals and trekking operators in different areas of Manaslu and Annapurna Region forcefully.

In a press conference, TAAN criticized the UCPN and their cadre’s activities and plead everyone, all travel and trade associations, stakeholders and concerned authorities to be united against these kinds of illegal activities. Besides, TAAN also warned that this process might bring very negative impacts on tourism sector.
