Sufyan Sheikh to achieve Tenzing Norgay National Adventure award

Sufyan Sheikh is fixed to become the youngest receiver of the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure award, which was proclaimed by the Sport Ministry of India.
Sheikh had become the youngest boy in the earth to swim 9 seas around the earth at a delicate age of just 17. He will achieve the award for Water Adventure for 2009.
Besides Sheikh, HC Kamlesh Kumar Boiunthiyal (Land Adventure), Wg Com Jai Kishan (Air Adventure), and Chandra Prabha Aitwal (Life time Achievement) have been nominated for award.
Fifty-nine year old Chandra Prabha is one of the initiator of Indian women mountaineers; while Jai Kishan carries the world record of sky-dive landing, Mount Everest.
Kamlesh is a steady mountaineer since 1994 and has climbed summits like Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Trishuli.
The awardees will obtain their awards from the President of India at a program organized particularly at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on August 29.
