Raise in Tourist Entry Fee Timeline Extended

Recently, Kathmandu Metropolitan City had planned to raise the tourist entry fee in Kathmandu Durbar Sqauare, but with some pressure from the private business firms KMC has agreed to extend the deadline.However the new fare will be posed after December of this year.

KMC revoked its decision to increase the tax keeping in mind the decision of the Main Hosting Committee of Nepal Tourism Year 2011 not to increase any kind of tourist fees and charges during the NTY campaign.
