Nepal-Indonesia planning to work together to boost tourism sector

Zet Mirzal Zainuddin, Indonesian Ambassador to Nepal spoke in an assembly with Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) officials that Nepal and Indonesia has joined hands to operate jointly for the advancement of tourism. He said that two countries can operate jointly in the sector.
The Ambassador said, “Government of Indonesia is making visa process easy for the Nepalese to enlarge business relationships. Visa to Nepalese will be issued from here in near future. He guaranteed Nepali businessman of his assistance for export promotion in Indonesia. Nepali Pashmina has a large demand in the Indonesian market”.
Mr. Surendra Bir Malakar, President of NCC solicited Zainuddin to support in tourism, export and Indonesian foreign direct investment to Nepal. He requested to begin Jakarta-Kathmandu direct flight to make Nepal Tourism Year 2011 a huge achievement.
Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Honorary Consulate of Indonesia appealed Nepali businessman to take part in the Trade Expo Indonesia. The expo is going to be organized on October 13-17.
Other NCC officials also explicated their will to promote two-sided relationship between Nepal and Indonesia. The two nations have diplomatic relationship since four decades.
