  As a tourism entrepreneur, I was very cheerful when I knew the government is celebrating the year 2011 as Tourism Promotion Year. Most of the Nepalese many not know that tourism is the industry that makes the largest amount of revenue for Nepal. Our county carries such characteristics and potential that she could be the best tourism destinations for the whole world. We should do our best to magnify our characteristics and make others know about our country’s quality–about its beauty, cultural variations, biodiversity, and many more . Let’s pave path to to make the Tourism Year “2011″ successful, then the year “2011″ will make our future secured financially.   fabulous idea to organize this grand program, definitely, good for everyone, positive and negative sides of cheap tourism should be analysed, who are the target group should be defined, what would you do if you have unwelcoming circumstances in the country including rubbish management pre and post festivities of visit… political rubbish games, curruption in all level, load shedding to transport disruptions.

  I am very much happy to hear about this Grand program that can revive the tourism potential of my country. But on the other hand i m skeptical on how this going to be managed. I do think this has been done in hurry without much preparation just because we have natural resource which doesnt need to be built but how about the conservations? Infrastructure to host thousands of tourist if they come? Security on the street which is going to be one big issue, hassle you have to go through from the second u step on the airport, load shedding, roads limited to on Nepal( Kathmandu), I have a bad feeling on how it is going to be successful. If it gives bad publicity to the world then there is no point of organising this event. Oohhh.. a one final thing which realyy couldnt get into my head. Brand new Airbus for national carrier? i know its national status but Nepal could have more planes if they had just bought second hand from Airlines that are going bust due to economoic turmoil. Commission hmmm!!!! no good work without commission i guess. Well done guys!!
