Naturally Nepal – Once Is Not Enough

Nepali embassy in Israel organized an economic diplomacy program in Tel Aviv city on Friday. The program was supported by Non-Resident Nepalese in Israel.
The slogan of the program was ‘Naturally Nepal – Once Is Not Enough’ and it was to mark 50 years of diplomatic relationship between Nepal and Israel.
The program created a space to promote Nepal Tourism Year (NTY) 2011 in Israel. In the program, the organizers tried to introduce Israelis about Nepali business, arts and culture, and get them to know famous tourist destinations in Nepal.
Baijnath Thapaliya Nepali ambassador to Israel said that events and programs like this would strengthen and encourage mutual relationship between Israel and Nepal.
He also said that Israel is a safe country for Nepali workers especially females and it can be an important destination for future Nepali workers.
He said that hydropower, tourism, agriculture and trade were viable sectors for Israeli investments in Nepal.
Mr. Baijnath Thapaliya informed Israeli dignitaries about NTY 2011.
