This challenging trek to the Everest Base Camp takes you through some of the most glorious mountain scenery in the entire Himalayas to Gokyo Lake. This high-altitude alpine trek explores the heart of the Sherpa homeland, visiting Namche Bazaar and Thyangboche before ascending to the stunning Gokyo Valley to the glacial lakes under the great peak of Cho Oyu (8153m). The journey will come to an end at Lukla airstrip then we will fly back to Kathmandu.About the tour: Start from: Lukla flying from Katmandu. Cultural: Buddhism & Hinduism. Max. Altitude: Kalapather - 5545 m. Grade: Moderate & Challenging Mountains: Number Himal, kwangde. Gaurishankar, Amadablam. Mt Everest, khumbu range, pumori and Rolwaling range etc. Ending point: Lukla flying back to Katmandu. Trek type: tented Camp only Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive to the Kathmandu airport and welcome you then transfer to the hotel. Over night on hotel B/B Day 2: full day Kathmandu sight seeing around the historical places and world heritage sites, over night on hotel B/B Day 3: Fly from Katmandu to Lukla and start our first day trekking. It will be mostly up and down hill to Phakding and over night in camp Day 4: Second day trekking to the most beautiful town in this route called Namche. Over night in camp Day 5: A day rest here to acclimatize to the thin oxygen level and visiting monastery and villages in Syangboche and over night in camp Day 6: Continue with trekking and visiting the Tengboche and. Over night in camp Day 7: Trek and explore all the way to Dingboche and over night in camp Day 8: A day rest in Dingboche to slowly adjust to the high attitude, enjoying with the panoramic view of the gorgeous Himalayas. Over night in camp Day 9: Continue trekking in fresh and cool weather to Lobuche. Over night in camp Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep where it offers a close view to Mount Everest. Over night in camp Day 11: Our journey's most important point and to view khumbu range panorama we will arrive in Kalapattar (5545m) from where we can see the Mt. Everest very nearly and clearly where you can feel heavenly then back to Lobuche over night in camp. Day 12: Today, we heading to gorgeous glacier on the way arrive Zongla and over night in camp Day 13: Our stepping will be continue with next days excitement destination to the Thangna and over night in camp Day 14: Our second significant destination and most famous and large glacier Gokyo Lake. Over night in camp Day 15: we make one day rest here to explorer or alternative Gokyo peak climbing, over night in camp Day 16: improbable we need to leave gorgeous Gokyo Lake and heading to Dole and over night in camp Day 17: Stepping down to Namche bazaar and over night in camp Day 18: Our final day trekking will lead you to tiny village Lukla to fly back to kathmandu next day. Over night in camp Day 19: Lukla to Katmandu, pick you up from airport and transfer to the hotel. Over night on hotel B/B plan Day 20: Today is the rest day, shopping day and over night farewell dinner with all trekking staff and management team.
