A Yeti Airlines passenger plane crashed at Tenzing-Hillary airport, Lukla, while landing due to bad weather. All onboard 12 German nationals, 2 Australians and 2 Nepalese crew members died except Captain S. Kunwar.  Tenzing-Hillary airport is the gateway to Everest.


The deceased passengers are A. Frick and C. Kate of Australia, M. Wiess, H. Wiess, A. Thiele, T. Krause, U. Thiele, S. Krause, B. Thorsten, N. Jankoster, A. Blomke, S. Blomke, A. Langanke and J. Sauter of Germany and Govinda Sharma and Santosh Adhikari of Nepal, a Yeti Airlines statement said.
