Dendi Sherpa the Everest Summiter conquered the Mount Everest for first time with ‘Nepal Pakistan Joint Expedition’ in 2006. He is vying for second successful summit with the ‘Everest Expedition for World Peace 2009’ supported by ‘Universal Peace Federation Nepal’. Mr. Gokul Thapa is leading the team and Mr. Dendi Sherpa is joining him as Mountain guide, other members accompanying them are Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Karna Bahadur Thapa, Ang Dorje Shrepa. Mr. Dendi Sherpa who is also owner of ‘True North Expedition Pvt. Ltd.’ is ‘Youth Ambassador for Peace’ representing ‘Universal Peace Federation’ and ‘Youth Federation for World Peace’ Nepal.

The expedition will attempt the peak from South Col on 14-17 May. The team is leaving for base camp next week and expected to stay there about 25-26 days.
