Chinese Vice foreign minister arriving today

Chinese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Fu Ying, is arriving on a four-day visit to Nepal today.
During her stay in Nepal, Fu Ying will participate in the ninth meeting of the Nepal-China Consultative Mechanism, said Arjun Bahadur Thapa, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Nepal-China Consultative Mechanism was constituted in 1966.
It is learnt that she is also scheduled to hold talks on topics related to mutual relations and bilateral interests.
Fu will hold meetings with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, among others.
At the Nepal-China meeting, the issue of China-funded projects in Nepal, security, trade promotion, tourism promotion, border management,and infrastructure development will be discussed.
