The World record of the longest Himalayan range and another world record of the highest mountain in the world, Nepal is one of the best country for adventure lover’s. Trekking in Nepal are really a pleasure and new experience. Sir Edmund Hillary and Late Tenzing Norgey Sherpa scaled Mount Everest since then Nepal was put on the map as a mountaineers and trekkers destination. Many people still do not know what is trekking and where to go for the trip. We suggest you for the best destinations in Nepal. If you want to explore the real adventure and extreme views of mountains, peaks and rich culture of different society, you are always welcome to visit in this beautiful nation.

Buddhism is one of the richest culture around the world. Sherpa the famous mountain climbers and the world’s record breaker in climbing the Mount Everest many times and with different records. You will encounter this great wonders during you trip to Nepal. Most treks follow old trails with good facilities on the way. Trekking at lower altitude, for instance in Helambu (maximum 3,200m) or Langtang (maximum 3,800m) strongly reduces the chance of large temperature drops or altitude sickness. Trails are often steep, but you can walk at your own speed, enjoying the extra comfort of organized trekking, a comfortable bed, delicious foods, camping chairs and toilets, a well trained guide, as well as experienced porters.

The Himalayas are the home of mountain people such as the Sherpas, as well as the legendary snow leopard, blue sheep, yak and The Yeti (mysterious mountain man). A adventure trekking in the Himalaya not only brings physical satisfaction, it allows the visitor to journey through an ancient culture that is steeped in the Buddhist religion.

The best way to experience Nepal’s unbeatable combination of natural beauty and cultural riches is to walk through them. One can walk along the beaten trails or virgin tracks. Either way you are in for an experience for a lifetime. Along with forests of rhododendron, isolated hamlets, and small mountain villages, birds, animals, temples, monasteries and breathtaking landscapes, you will also encounter friendly people of different cultures offering a fascinating glimpse of traditional rural life.

Trekking is possible any time of the year depending on where you are going. The popular seasons are spring and autumn. During winter, trekking is possible at lower altitudes. During the monsoon season, you can trek in the rain shadow areas north of the Himalayas like Mustang, Upper Manang and Dolpa. These places are out of reach of the rain clouds because of the high mountains and are unaffected by the monsoon. The best part about trekking in this season is that the routes are less crowded and if you happen to be a keen botanist, you will revel in lush vegetation as meadows blossom in full swing. To ensure quality service and safety, it is advisable to make the trekking programs through a government recognized trekking agency.

On average, trekking consists of walking daily 5 to 7 hours, 9 to 14 Kms on a series of ascents and descents. The immense contrasts in altitude and climates found here support an equally spectacular mix of lifestyle and wildlife. Nepal is a pioneer in the sport of trekking.
