A Trek 10 times more difficult than climbing Mt Everest

Mr. Tom Smitheringale’s, a 39 year old Perth adventurer is attempting to become the first Australian and only the third person in the world to trek solo to the North Pole.
According to him this trek is 10 times more difficult than climbing Mt. Everest and is like struggling for survival each day.
Mr. Tom Smitheringale is a Former British soldier and personal trainer.
On his way to trek he will be facing -30 Degree Temperatures, blizzards, broken ice and polar bears, towing a 160 kilogram sled across some of the most inhospitable terrain on earth.
He has nick named his solo adventure as “The One-Man Epic” and is being documented online on http:// www.onemanepic.com
He Treks 10 hours a day, and at night beds down in a two-man tent, keeping a watchful eye and ear for the world’s biggest and fiercest land-based predators called polar bears.
