A Research To Be Conducted By NTB

NTB is going to conduct a research and compile all the domestic tourism statistics. Mr. Kashi Raj Bhandari, Director of Planning and Monitoring at NTB stated that this kind of research regarding Domestic Tourism Industry has never been conducted before. To conduct the research NTB will start household surveys from Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan. He also further stated that NTB is hoping to finish the research and compile all the datas by the end of present fiscal year.
Major destinations for domestic tourists are Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, Palpa, Makwanpur, Nagarkot and Dhulikhel.
